It's Okay To Not Be Okay is a Korean series penned by Jo Yong and helmed by Park Shin-woo. It was broadcasted on TVN and streamed on Netflix. It aired from 20th June 2020 to 9th August 2020. It was adjudged as one of the Best International Shows in 2020. Studio Dragon created the series. Janet Suhh crooned the opening theme, and the music is composed by Nam Hye-Seung.
Moon Gang-Tae has an elder brother Moon Sang-Tae, who has autism. After their mother’s murder, they don’t stay in the same place and shift places frequently. Gang-Tae works in a psychiatric center as a caretaker. During his duty at the hospital, he meets Ko Moon Yung, a renowned writer who deals with children-related articles. Gang Tae hears that Moon Young has an antisocial personality disorder. Moon Young falls for Gang Tae and follows him to his current working place at Seong-jin. It was the city where Gang-Tae, Sang-Tae, and Moon Young grew up. After reaching there, they started to untie the secrets. What happened to them when they were young? Did they travel throughout their life? The rest of the series deals with this.
