Channegowda (commonly referred to as ‘Gaddappa’) is an Indian actor, popular amongst the audience for playing the role of Gaddappa in the Kannada movie Thithi (2015). Mostly known for working in the Kannada industry, he’s already into his mid-80s but still has around seven more upcoming film projects.

chose him to play Gaddappa in his film Thithi, despite knowing that he had no prior acting experience.
But this decision turned out to be a sensible one has the film was a blockbuster. Since then, Channegowda has worked in two more films, namely Chinnada Gombe (2018) and Nan Mangale Heroine (2017).
