Saba Mumtaz is a well known successful producer and writer of the Indian film industry. Having produced several television series such as Ek Bond Ishq, Saraswati Chandra, Parrish, Uttara, she conquered our hearts. Since a child, Saba Mumtaz use to be dedicated and focused on entering the film industry. She completed her post graduation from New Delhi at the Jamia Millia University where she was trained to be a director, producer, and writer. EventhoughSaba Mumtaz studied her undergraduate for production, she made her debut in the writing field. As a writer, she could not visit shooting location, participate in the art direction and design. But then she started writing Ek Bond Ishq which allowed her to work as co-producer. One of Saba Mumtaz’s most appreciated scripts is for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehata Hai which has run for four and a half years on television. Her second preference is for Diya Aur Bati Hum. Saba Mumtaz wrote many other scripts such as: in 2008, Dharam Veer.

In 2009 she wrote, Yeh Rishta Kya Theta Hai, Moohe Range De and Mere Khar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari. In 2010, the following were produced: Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava, Chand Chupa Badal Mein. Saba Mumtaz lives with her hirteen-year-old daughter named Nora. She believes that the secret to happiness in life is not only to work but someone has to maintain an enjoyable and respectful relationship with colleagues and friends.
