Rajat Arora is an Indian Writer, Lyricist, Producer, and Film Director. He works in the Bollywood Film Industry. Rajat was born on the 23rd of July in the year 1975. He was born in New Delhi, India.
He was born and brought up in New Delhi. He graduated with a BCom Hons degree from Delhi University. He also went to the Asian Academy of Film and Television.
He left for Mumbai from Delhi at the age of 21 to pursue a career in the Film Industry. Initially, Rajat started his career as a Dialogue writer for Crime Investigation Department (CID) and Aahat under the writer Sridhar Raghavan.
He also wrote the screenplay for these shows. He has worked for more than 100 episodes in both CID and Aahat. Rajat started his career in Bollywood Film Industry as a Dialogue writer for the film Bluffmaster (2005).
He then worked on more movies such as Taxi No. 9211 (2006), Hattrick (2007), Chandni Chowk To China (2009), Kick (2014), Azhar (2016), and many more. Rajat won various awards for Best Dialogues and Best Screenplay for his notable work in the films Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (2011) and The Dirty Picture Click to look into! >> Read More... (2012).
He won 2 Zee Cine Awards, 2 Producer’s Guild Film Awards, 2 Global Indian Film, and Television Awards, 1 Screen Award, and an IIFA Award. He also won a Mirchi Music Award and a People’s Choice Award for best lyrics for his song Ishq Sufiyana in The Dirty Picture (2012).
