Adnan Ali from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, was born on 27th May 1993. He is a famous writer and has also made his name in many other creative fields. He has grown up among scholars and poets and thus has a vast knowledge of Urdu, Farsi, Hindi, and English. He did his graduation with BSc from Lucknow University. He now lives in Mumbai as his work predominantly continues there. He has always dreamt of being a great writer and exploring the field of directing; thus, he achieved his dreams while growing up. He traveled to several countries and attended many film festivals to get exposed to the art of filmmaking. Over the years he wrote and directed several films and documentaries, and some even got widespread recognition and love.

Adnan is known for his work as a director in the 2022 film named Ittu Si Baat. The film Ittu Si Baat tells the tale of an inspiring cricketer who develops feelings for his childhood friend. The story revolves around the protagonist Bittu and his childhood sweetheart Sapna, and the lengths he will go to be with her. His documentary film Arbaeen- The World’s Largest Gathering, has won several national and international recognition. He also won a few awards for this film. In this, he captured the holy journey of millions of people from Najaf to Karbala in Iraq. He believes that he is a writer first and then a director and thus sees the world from the eyes of a thinker and imagination. His passion for filmmaking and writing has taken him a long way as his works are more of an art than entertainment; with this, he can reach amazing heights.
