In this serial Amar Upadhyay played the character of Ram, Trupti Toradmal played the character of Bulbul and Dolly Sohi played the character of Rano.
The story of the serial included both Drama as well as Romance. The two sisters Bulbul and Rano falls in love with the same person Ram. The elder sister Bulbul was a selfish girl, but Rano was a caring and a fun loving girl. Bulbul married to Ram against Rano’s wishes. Bulbul elopes with someone else and leaves her husband and her children. Later Rano had to marry her brother-in-law.
The serial had a positive ending, where Rano gets cancer and dies, and Ram and Bulbul again reunites. The running time of the series was 21 minutes. The serial was broadcasted for three years from 2001 to 2003.
