Manish Acharya was a famous Bollywood actor and cinematographer. He was born on 14 June 1967. He attained a major in Physics from Grinnell College in Lowa, United States of America (USA). Acharya debuted in the Indian film industry with Loins Of Punjab Presents in English. The feature film won IFFLA's Audience Choice Award for Best Feature in 2008. The same year, it grabbed the Sapporo Asian Film Festival of Dallas's Best Narrative Feature Award. He also acted in Farhan Akhtar's Luck by Chance. In Ken Ghosh's "Ishk Vishk," he was a camera assistant. On 4 December 2010, he lost his life when he fell from a horse while riding. His wife Dhruvi Acharya and two sons survive him.
