Vachanbaddh is a Marathi television series aired on DD Sahyadri in 2015. The series was about a girl named Gauri who lost her mother at a very young age. Gauri’s father, Raosaheb Sardeshmukh, promises his wife Kusum on her deathbed to marry again to provide motherly love to Gauri. Raosaheb marries Ragini to fulfill this promise. He feels very proud of his daughter as she takes on all the qualities and responsibilities of her mother, Kusum, and looks after her business, Mahilagrihaudyog, which she started for widowed, helpless, and homeless women. However, Ragini always discourages Gauri and tries to take away the business empire for her children, Tejaswini and Vikram. This series was directed and written by Sajeev Kolate.
