Ruby Bhatia is a multi-faceted personality of the Indian Television and Film Industry and fraternity. Whenever, we think about her, the first and most prominent image that sprangs up in audience’s mind is her endearing persona and her role as the leading VJ or Video Jockey who hosted some of the most popular and flagship shows of the Indian music and entertainment channel Channel V.  Ruby Bhatia was born in US on November 1, 1973, educated and brought up in Canada, Ruby belonged to a Canada based Punjabi family and studied Indian music and dance forms and graduated in various international dance forms and music styles  including Jazz, Pop, Ballet from the Toronto branch of the Royal Dance Academy which is headquartered in London. Ruby Bhatia did her graduation in Philosophy from Toronto University, Canada. She also won the Miss India Canada beauty pageant in the year 1993 and after winning this contest Ruby Bhatia decided to return to India to pursue her career and establish herself in the glamour industry of India. She started out by participating in the Femina Miss India contest 1994 and went on to host the show in the year 1996 along with the legendary American actor Richard Steinmetz.  Ruby Bhatia is also associated with many philanthropy activities such as children’s education, no tobacco  campaigns, etc. Ruby Bhatia is also a well-trained yoga practitioner. She married twice, first to Singer Nitin Bali from whom she divorced and later married choreographer Ajit Dutta. Ruby Bhatia has recently launched her own website- www. rubybhatia.com.
