Priya is an actress, TEDx speaker, creator, columnist cum poet born in Dehradun. She completed her English Honors degree from Venkateshwara College, under Delhi University. To pursue her higher studies, Priya went to Australia. After completing her Master's in teaching, she joined a school, Our Lady of Sacred Heart, in Adelaide, Australia. She was married to Bhushan Malik, an Australian citizen, in 2008. Priya is good at writing poems, and she was one of the finalists at the Australian Poetry Slam in 2013.
