Pratichi Mishra is a well known face of TV entertainment industry. She is originally from Lucknow and completed her academics from Lucknow, Gurgaon and Madurai. For higher studies she went to Chennai and completed her BA in Hindi language. She was appointed as Hindi teacher in Chennai and worked there for almost 20 years. Meanwhile she was interested in acting and done many short roles in Tamil Cinema and TV serials. She came to Mumbai along with her family and joined a local theater and there she got noticed by the team of Sphere Origins which produced Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar.Â
She was selected in the audition and got a chance to debut her carrier in Hindi entertainment industry in 2005 with Rakesh Sarang’s Saat Phere. The show aired the story of Saloni who had comparatively dark complexion. She got neglected from her husband and fellow family members but during the episodes she managed to get her identity and proven herself. Pratichi played the negative role of Ambika, who was mother of Saloni. The show bagged many awards for acclaimed performances.

starrer Family in 2006 for a very short but noticeable role. After doing many other cameos and short roles in regional languages, she participated in the audition for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega serial Saraswati Chandra and got selected there for the role of Saubhagyaa Dharmadikari. The show was aired on Star Plus with the story of Saraswatichandra (aka Saras) and Kumud who struggled for their love.Â
Currently she is working on Sony TV’s show Kya Hua Tera Vaada as Mrs. Chopra opposite to Mr. Chopra played by veteran actor
