Ankita born on 16th October 1992 is a Bengali brought up in Delhi. Her current hometown is Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is famous as the youngest participant in Master Chef Season 1.

Ankita lives with her mother and her sister Anindita Chakravarty. She participated in master chef and improvised herself in creative cooking to make her father feel proud who is also a chef by profession. After her parents’ separation, she is not in contact with her father.

She started cooking at the age of 13-14 years to help her Mom at home after her parents' separation as her mother who was a working woman, and from there she got interested in cooking. Ankita is brought up in Delhi who did both her honors and masters in Psychology.

Ankita catered the art of creative cooking and was selected with the top twelve contestants in Master Chef India Season 1 in 2010. She was titled Dynamite by Akshay Kumar as being nineteen years old she competed as the youngest participant there. She got eliminated after being in top 7 finalists of Master Chef India. After 2010 she completed her studies.

Ankita became part of Endemol as a Story producer in 2013 in Lonavala, Maharashtra. She started her journey and trained herself as a cook under his inspirational Chef Sanjeev Kapoor at Khana Khazana Khana Khazana has been a cookery show of Indian Te >> Read More... where she worked as an Anchor, creative director and also directed for his Youtube channel from November 2013 -2015. In 2015, as an Associative creative director, she worked at Living Foodz.

After that, as a Creative Director, she worked for Big Synergy Media Ltd. From 14th February 2016 to June 2016. In the following year, she also worked on Channel HISTORY as a creative director for five months i.e. from July to November. She joined this channel to fulfill her love of traveling.

There she got to travel and know more about organic foods, farming, and cooking techniques. After this, she decided to work on her terms, and she is presently working as a freelancer. She takes up the catering projects in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

She also had her blog Chock Full o’ Nuts earlier in 2013 where she talks about her passion and life. As a chef, she shares her recipes and also writes about traveling and media. She also started her YouTube channel as Chefie Ankita in 2018 where she talks about her recipes, cooking style, traveling stories, her works of direction.
