Zebi Zubair is a chef, very well titled as Mughlai Queen by Chef Kunal in Master Chef India Season 1. Zebi took birth on 27th April 1982 in the holy city of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. She gets fame as the contestant and finalist in Master Chef Season 1. Zebi typically belongs to a traditional Muslim family of Lucknow. She did her early schooling from Varanasi and Faizabad.

After her family shifted to Lucknow, she completed her M.ed from Lucknow university in 2008. She was married to Kashif in 2007. Her husband always appreciated her culinary skills. The only reason for her motivation to go and participate in as a contestant in Master Chef India Season 1 was her husband.

Zebi learned cooking from her mother and from childhood she always had an interest in preparing dishes for her family, friends, and relatives. She got the flavors of her region and her favorite cuisine became Mughlai food. Her first recipe and dish ‘BanarasiKiwamiSiwaina’ got her lots of appreciation and it also got its place in a number of five-star restaurants in Delhi and Gurgaon. Now when she sees herself, she is a lot happy that from being just a housewife she has transformed into a confident housewife and is also glad that her journey inspires other women too.

After getting remarkable recognition in Master Chef India, she also started her blog named on her name Zebi Zubair. She also hosts a show name Aks-e-Rasoi which is telecasted on ETV Urdu where she shows how to make different Mughlai and multinational cuisines.

She also talks about her Awadhi cooking techniques and other techniques too. She shares about different flavors and ingredients which brings an essence of her region. Presently she is also taking cookery classes in Delhi. Her journey gives a lesson to follow your passion.
