Known for his character as Akash in a renowned TV serial named, Dehleez (February 16, 2009 - May 22, 2009), which was publicized on NDTV Imagine, Sunil Barve was born on 6th October 1966. The serial is based upon a wedded young lady, who needs to venture out of the limits of her home to work for the sake of her husband.

Sunil Barve was raised up in Mumbai, India. At first, he had no intention of joining the entertainment industry, as he never saw himself as a performing artist. Sunil Barve received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Patkar College, Mumbai and soon after getting his degree, he started working as a medical representative in a company. According to him, he was not happy working over there and used to question himself, “Is this what I want from my life?”  By going towards the direction his heart showed him, Sunil left his job and turned towards the acting industry.

Life in the industry wasn’t easy, and he wasn’t one of those actors who entered the industry with a lead role. At first, he worked as a supporting actor in many movies and TV serials. He wasn’t as successful in the Hindi Movie Industry, as in Marathi Movie Industry. There is a list of Marathi movies in which he was cast, some of them as, Lapandav (1993), Jamla ho Jamla (1995), and Aai (1995). He also owns a company, Barve's production company Subak, which has produced some plays (Marathi).

As a child, Sunil used to take Tabla and singing classes, and soon it gave him the opportunity to enter the entertainment industry. His singing ability gave him a chance to present a character in a stage play, from which his career started. In his journey towards success, his family played a huge part. They used to support his decisions and used to help him a lot by every possible way to make him sparkle among the others.

His other movies include: ‘Aamras: The Sweet Taste of Friendship’ where he acted as School Principal, ‘Rangrezz’ (2013) directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’ directed by Sukumar Nair, and ‘Red Alert - The War Within’ which was based on a true story. Suneel prefers acting in movies rather than in TV serials as there is more scope to perform in movies. However, when he gets a role in TV Serial which will last for a long time, he eagerly accepts the role. Besides acting, Suneel has also been the Assistant Director of many hindi movies. He has been an Assistant Director in the movie Naseebwala (1992) and Humshakal (1992). He has also worked as a Production Assistant in the movie Namumkin in 1988. Sunil Lahri is an Indian actor. Sunil Lahri wanted to be an actor since childhood. Sunil used to perform in front of his family and friends. His passion to become a star was the main reason to enter the Indian Entertainment Industry. Lakshman is the name that comes to our mind when we think of Sunil Lahri; he is mostly known for the role he played in a TV series named Ramayan (25 January 1987 – 31 July 1988), aired on Doordarshan. In an interview when Sunil was asked about his role and the project, he said, “The series is meant to create awareness regarding prevention of crime that is growing in the society today. A Teleserial would be a lesson to prevent future crimes.” He also played a character in another TV series of the same genre, 'Vikram Aur Betaal (1985)', aired on DD National. In the year 1990, he played the role of 2nd Lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane in the TV series 'Param Vir chakra'. Later in 1991 Sunil got a major lead character in a musical movie named 'Baharon Ke Manzil (1991)'. Sunil belonged to an ordinary family; his father was a professor in a medical college. It was his father’s last will, that, when he dies, his body has to be donated to the medical college in order to assist them in their studies. Sunil fulfilled his wish and handed over the body after he died, he said that it was hard for him, but it was his father’s last wish, and no rituals or customs are more important than a dead man’s last wish.
