Anas Rashid

Anas Rashid is widely known for his character as Suraj in Diya Aur Baati Hum. He was born on August 31, 1980. At present, he is working as an Indian TV actor. He won the ITA (Indian Television Academy) Awards in 2013 as best actor drama (jury) for the recent no.1 daily serial of Star Plus (Diya Aur Baati Hum). However, he started his acting career with a supporting role in ‘Kahiin To Hoga’ in the year of 2006, but his work really caught the eyes of viewers with his first leading role where he played the Character of Pritviraj Chauhan (2006-2009).
Anas, who comes from a Muslim background, was born in Malerkotla, Punjab. He is the eldest one among his two brothers and two sisters. Anas’s school, religion, and family gave him a scope to have command over Urdu, Arabic, and Persian apart from Hindi and English. He completed his Post Graduation on Psychology. Also, he is a trained singer. In 2004, Anas won the Mr. Punjab title and this is where his modeling career starts.
