Nimit Kotian

Nimit Kotian is a professional Indian dancer, dance choreographer, model, actor, YouTuber, dance teacher, and content creator. Also, he is the founder of NIKO Entertainment (Wedding Choreography & Entertainment Services). He took a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree at St. Xavier’s College. He quit college and enrolled himself at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics to pursue Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Commerce. Nimit Kotian was inspired by Hrithik Roshan’s famous song “Ek Pal Ka Jeena,” and this dreamer’s journey began at sixteen. Blessed with supportive parents, he took part in his first dance competition in 2004. As time went by, he began choreographing for the junior college team and participating in several dance festivals during his college days. He could not pursue his dream after college, as he had a full-time job to support his family. He has been passionate about dance since his college days to participate in an international event for dance. Though, street dancing gave him the only possibility to showcase his dancing talent in the institute.

With basic experience, he gained applause and a place for himself in the street dance group. Soon, the turning point of his life came, where he became part of the “Street Soul Dance Crew,” which introduced him to many talented dancers, including Shantanu Maheswari. Then, he started practicing popping routines. He participated in India’s first-ever pop battle organized by FNS with Shantanu Maheswari. They won the first-ever ‘Indian Underground Duet Pop Battle.’ During his college days, Nimit Kotian also won the first-ever “Krump” competition known as “Krump it up” in 2009. Following this, he began his journey as a choreographer with the reality television show Nach Baliye in 2014.
