Nakul Sahdev is an Indian actor who appeared as Anshuman, the vampire in MTV Fanaah on MTV India. Nakul was hailed in Udaipur, India. He studied at St. Paul’s School, Udaipur. His father is a businessman while his mother serves in the Indian Navy, so acting is not really in their genes. But since it is his passion ever since he was a kid, he did a formal training in acting at Whistlingwoods Acting School. He worked with respectable names in the industry such as
Naseeruddin Shah
and some others who have been his mentor like Benjamin Gelani,
Arvind Pandey
,
Subhash Ghai
and many others. He worked in Bollywood at his very young age. Nakul also did a print ad for Stopper Stop.
He started his career in Excel Entertainment Production House by
Farhan Akhtar
in the casting department. Later, he acted in the first and second season of the musical drama series, Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De on Disney Channel India. He played as Kabir, the main antagonist along with Ishaan (played by
Tapasvi Mehta
). His experience in this serial is great and taught him how to work professionally. Then he worked in Dharma Production casting department, until he shifted in doing films. He was debuted as a film actor in the Bollywood film, Money Devo Bhava which is also the directorial debut of
Anand Sivakumaran
. He played as Harry, a wealthy guy with a good heart in the film. His character in this film is very positive and this has been a good learning experience for him. In 2011, he appeared as the young Andrew Raymond in the movie, Mod by
Nagesh Kukunoor
. He is also part of the Bollywood drama film, Life’s Good by
Anand Shukla
in 2013 and currently doing another film which is still under production.
In 2012, he has been part of the daily teen drama series, ‘Best Friends Forever?’ on Channel V India. He played as Purushastra Jajodiya, boyfriend of Vinnie in the show.

. He also likes to read books when not on shoot. His favorites are

and Arthur Miller. He also loves to listen to his iPod, go to mountains and sit on top of it. Also, he likes playing Spanish guitar. Nakul has been successful in his journey as an actor and he is thankful to all who support him especially his family and girlfriend.
