Manmeet Singh

Manmeet Singh, born 1969, 29 July, is an Indian television and movie actor and model known for his appearance in several television series and movies.

He was born in Nainitall to Ajit Singh Sawhney. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication from G.N. Khalsa College Bombay in 1991.

Manmeet started his career as an actor from Ram Gopal Verma's Jungle. Since then, he has acted in several movies like Kalpvrish (2012), Hear land (2011), Chhevan Dariya (2010, Naanu Nanna Kanasu (2010), Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), Accident on Hill Road (2009), Abhium Naanum (2008), Sat Sri Akal (2008), Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors (2008), Khusboo (2008), Black and White (2008), Swami (2007), Apne (2007), Rang De Basanti (2006), Barsaat (2005), Zameen (2003) and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003).

Similarly, Manmeet Singh has appeared in several television shows like Lo Kal Lo Baat, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Kareena Kareena, Anchal Ki Chaon Mein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Dhoom, Loomba and Rab Se Sohna Isshq.

Apart from movies and television serials, he has also appeared in several television advertisements for India bulls, HP Turbojet Diesel, Avon cycles, Radio Mirchi, Samsung Washing Machine, MDH Masala, Orient Fans, Pepsi, Make My Trip.com, Waal soap, and Amul Dahi among others.

Manmeet Singh is an Indian actor, model, singer and even music composer. He was born in Uttarakhand. The actor completed his graduation in communication at G.N. Khalsa College Bombay in 1991. Manmeet was interested in singing and acting since his young days when he was studying in the final year of tenth class. He stated as a model and then forayed into acting career. He made his debut in Bollywood in Ramgopal Varma’s Jungle and then went to act many more popular movies such as ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ which was produced by Yash Raj Films.

In addition, he acted in movies like ‘Bombay To Bangkok’ and ‘Swami’. The actor also acted in a Tamil movie named ‘Abhiyum Naanum’. He is now acting in a Hollywood movie titled ‘Heart Land as Billoo. The actor married Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney who even won Rs 5 crore award in season-5 of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The actor has acted in 120 Television promos. So far, the actor has acted in over 23 movies. The actor played the supporting character in many hit movies in Bollywood and that includes ‘Khushboo’ (2008), ‘Rang De Basanti’ (2006), ‘Black and White’ (2008). In the year 2010, Manmeet Singh found his way into Kannada language films too.
