Manik Talwar

Manik Talwar is a famous TV actor, choreographer, dancer, producer, and also a lyricist. He is the son of Mrs. Krishma Talwar and Mr. Akhil A. Talwar. Manik is born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab. Currently, he is living in Mumbai and continuing his career in the city. He celebrates his birthday on 6th June. Recently, he opened a dance centre for people who want to learn dance; the name of his academy is 'No Options', this name suggests that when no options are left, go for dance in 'No Options Dance Academy’. This institute has its location at Andheri, Mumbai. Here, he trains students in different styles of dance like, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, B-Boeing, Salsa, etc. Last year, Manik launched his first music video titled as 'Sabre Karam' alongside Rumana Sheikh, Suraj Rathod, and Ameer Ali The melodious and versatile voice of Ameer Ali has >> Read More... . Before his TV projects and shows, Manik was a struggler who worked day and night to achieve his dreams. He attained stardom after the TV series Sadda Haq. It is a teenage drama which aired on 25th November 2013, where Manik played the character of Sahil Kataria. Sadda Haq was the most watched television show of that period and grabbed all the love and attention of the viewers. Later, Manik appeared in 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan' as Parth, the show aired on July 21, 2013. He also enacted a role in a short film directed by Prabhat Ojha called Demotivation.

Manik has been awarded H. F. F. Award for choreography at the Grand stage in 4th HFF Festival. Manik has a very kind heart, and leads a simple lifestyle. Last year, he celebrated Christmas with 700 underprivileged children of 'Aao Muskuraye NGO' at Marol, Andheri. He is a gentle human being, and worships his work. He used to work in double shifts in day and night when he was struggling to become an actor. Today, he is successful because he believed in himself and his hard work.
