Sohan was born in the town of Darbhanga in Bihar. He moved to Delhi in search of new opportunities and found himself in the job of a production manager. His work for the Doordarshan show, ‘School Days’ in the late 90s’ helped him grow rapidly in his career. After a while in Delhi, he moved to the hub of cinema, Mumbai in 2001. There he began working as an assistant director, the post was short-lived due to an injury he suffered. He then put his talents into Sankraman Productions, where he participated in the scheduling and management of numerous reality shows and daily soaps.
