Jaswant Menaria got married to Poornima during November 2007. During the year 2012, he was accused of harassing his wife for dowry. It is said that, he even threatened his wife for divorce.

Jaswant also appears in the television serial “Namak Issk Ka,” which focuses on the character of Kahani who, a dancer by profession, is considered low class by society and got married into a wealthy family. Jaswant plays the role of Shailendra Thakur in this serial. It was released on 7 December 2020 and is directed by Atif Khan.
