Dhruv Sangawn is a young TV artist who was born in a reputed and very educated family of Rohtak. He received his early education in Pratap Public School Rohtak and presently he studies in Pawar Public School Pune. He was passionate about dancing and acting since his childhood and did some one act plays when he was in school in Rohtak.

He was first seen on small screen in Motisagar Production's Ramayan as young Bharat. This was a mythological mega serial on Zee TV and was very popular at that time. It was a remake of the Ramayan made by during 1987-88 and was a mega hit serial. His performance as young Bharat in the serial was noted with respect and he was considered to be a young actor with high potential with that serial. He was a household face due to high popularity of the serial in Hindi TV viewers.

His next appearance in TV was in the recent serial 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap where he plays the role of Kunwar Shakti, the son of Maharana Uday Singh, portrayed by , who is given a death punishment by his father due to lack of communication with his son. However, Rana Pratap comes on to the scene along with the friend of Maharana Uday Singh, Raawat Chundawat (played by Rajeev Bharadwaj) who ultimately saves the boy from death punishment by his own father. The serial is having high popularity levels and is being aired on Sony TV.
