Having performed together in 93 shows, they get well, and he enjoys working with him due to his spontaneity. Pandit is an alumnus of St. Xaviers College in Mumbai, where he was introduced to theatre. He says that at first, he was scared to perform on stage and then later caught up with his peers because of his fascination with the theatre. He likes the professional atmosphere. Pandit claims that every character he has ever played reflects something about his life . He likes to act in more indie films and make a difference. He likes to act in more story-oriented films rather than commercial entertainers.

He says that if not an actor, he would have become a director owing to his creative skills. In his free time, he likes to spend time with friends and play video games. His favorite tourist destination is Greece, where he went with his parents last year . He describes Greece as a soothing and calming place with very friendly people and beautiful places. Pandit has received many compliments over the years, but his best remains the one from Naseeruddin shah, "just keep on doing it." He recently acted in the play Baskervilles.
