Famous Indian theater artist Som Nath Sadhu was born in 1935 in Kashmir. He is credited with his work prominently in Kashmiri theatre. He started his career in 1955 by joining Radio Kashmir. In their entire life, he worked passionately for Kashmir Theater and film industry. He showcased acting talent in two Kashmiri films named Shayar-e-Kashmir Mahjoor and Mainz Raat. The Indian Government awarded him with Padma Shri in 1974. He left this world in 1982 in New Delhi at the age of 47.Â
