Animesh Verma

Animesh Verma is a writer and story teller. He is from Bhagalpur (Kirani in Muzaffarpur district) Bihar and has spent his childhood in his native village. Animesh refers to himself as a born storyteller, and he discovered his passion and art of storytelling when he was 8. Since then, he started writing. After completing his school he began to send his articles for publishing. His articles started publishing in a few local magazines when he shifted to Mumbai in 1997 from Noida, UP.

He completed his graduation in commerce stream from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He started into the business of storytelling in 2001 and also worked for some prominent TV and Film Production Houses and worked with some of the most successful Hindi General Entertainment Channels of India as a Content Creator and Creative Consultant.

Animesh has been the head of many iconic TV shows as a part of the entertainment industry, such as Devon key Dev Mahadev, Siya Ke Ram Siya Ke Ram belongs to historical drama genre. He resides in Mumbai as an independent fiction director. He has also written books titled ‘Love, Life and Dream On’, and ‘I am broke…! Love me’.

He decided to pen down his first dreamwork, Bharat, which is a pure work of fiction on the backdrop of the story of Shakuntala that took him four years to complete. It got published in 2019. It is a story of India’s greatest ruler after whom the great nation Bharat, has been named. Bharat’s world is governed over by the rules of his brave mother Shakuntala, like any other naughty kid before he became the legend. His life came with its own set of challenges and expectations. The book is quite descriptive and very eye-catching as it feels like watching a movie while reading it.
