Simranjit Singh is Indian professional footballer who plays for Delhi Dynamos as a midfielder. Born in Jaito Sarja Village in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Singh took up the game at a young age and what drove him to eventually, join Tata Foot Academy in 2008 was his desire to emulate the footballers who were from his district and went on to represent India internationally.

After four years of training at TFA, the talented midfielder joined Pailan Arrows in 2012 and debuted for the club in January 2013 against Shillong Lajong FC as a 74th-minute substitution for Seminlen Doungel. He continued with the club and appeared for eight fixtures until AIFF disbanded them due to lack of financial resources in 2013. The midfielder played for youth teams internationally, representing India.

He then went on to join Goan outfit Churchill Brothers for a little while before he signed by newly founded Bharat FC and played in five of their fixtures. The following year he joined Kolkata-based Mohammedan SC before he was roped in by Minerva Punjab FC.

At the time he joined, the club was a 2nd division I-League club and despite having played in I-League level; he had no qualms about joining the FC. When asked about it in an interview, he revealed how he knew the club's founder Ranjit Bajaj from the wee days of his career when the duo played together and when Bajaj approached Singh with his plans to create a Punjab-based I-League team; the latter couldn't refuse.

The Punjab da puttar remained with Minerva for two years, playing a detrimental role in the club securing the I-League promotion in 2016. For the 2016-17 I-League season, Singh appeared in 15 matches and scored two goals and helped the club finish in 9th position.

In July of 2017, the midfielder left Minerva to join ISL outfit Delhi Dynamos but had a disappointing season as he was restricted to the fringe, playing for just one match for the club. The same month, this year, NorthEast United FC roped him in for the 2018-19 season of ISL.

He appeared in the Indian Super Cup qualifier game for the NEUFC where the team got eliminated after a loss. Currently, Singh is training hard for and looking forward to the upcoming ISL season in September end.
