Samiksha Malik

Samiksha Malik is a wrestler and Judo player by profession. She was born on 14 June 1998 in a conservative family of Rohtak, Haryana. She has a sister as a sibling. Soon after the birth of their two daughters, Samiksha's parents had to move out of their ancestral home because of the domestic pressure and backlash they faced for not having any sons. But Samiksha's parents were very supportive and never let any of their daughters feel demoralized. Samiksha did her schooling from D. G. V. Senior Secondary Public School, Rohtak, Haryana. After that she went to the prestigious Lady Sri Ram College for Women in New Delhi to obtain a degree in B. A. Psychology. She holds several awards as a gymnast and Judo player. Over the years, she has actively participated in her college sports tournaments and holds many medals. She has a long list of her sports achievements. Her participation in wrestling goes upto the international level.
