Sergio Juste

Serio Juste is a footballer with a Spanish origin. His first name is Juste and his second name is Marin. His full name is Sergio Juste Marin, and he was born on 12th January 1992 in Tarragona in Spain. He is popularly known as Chechi. He plays as a central defender in his football team and is also capable of playing as a right back player. He currently plays for Goa FC.

In his early years, he played in Barcelona from the year 2001 to 2002 and in Gimnastic from 2002 to 2009, seven years. His senior career includes teams like Pobla Mafumet from 2009 to 2011, Gimnastic from 2009 to 2012, Barcelone B from 2012 to 2016, Hospitalet from 2016 to 2017 and finally Goa from 2017 till the present day. On the national level, he played for Catalonia in 2011.

He played the match in December, and it was a friendly match against Tunsania. Serio’s interest towards football began at a young age, and he made his debut in the senior team when he was just 17 years old, in a match that his team unfortunately lost, after he moved to Gimnastic de Tarragona, which is neighboring Barcelona.

After spending some years with the so-called farm team, he received a promotion and made it to the main squad, and he played his first match against Real Valladolid. In June 2012, Juste signed a contract, valid for two years with Barcelona. In August 2012, an agreement surfaced. The teams involved were Gimnatic and Barcelona for Juste. The agreement was a deal valid for three years with a buyout clause for 12 million.

In mid-August, Juste suffered an injury and fully recovered only by Jan next year and returned to the field. Soon after, He got injured yet again with a knee injury. In August 2013 he underwent more injuries in his ligament leading to more months in bed without an on-field appearance.

After overcoming all the health-related obstacles, he came back in form in May 2014 and played a match against AD Alcoron which his team eventually won. Regardless of the less number of games he played, he became the captain of B-team in August 2014. In August 2017 he left his country for the very first time and soon became a part of Goa FC and played for them in the Indian Super League. His career saw a total of 95 appearances and three goals.
