Rahul Choudhary is an Indian sportsman, who has been one of the Nation’s best Kabaddi players. He has been a part of the Pro Kabaddi League from the very first season. Rahul was born in the town of Jalalpur Choiya, Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. He began playing the game of Kabaddi in 2006 when he was 13. He joined the Indian Nation Kabaddi team and represented the country at South Asian games in 2016. The team went on to win the Gold Medal in the tournament.
Rahul began playing in the position of Defender and then went on to become a Raider. He was recruited by the Telugu Raiders for the National Pro Kabaddi League. In the inaugural match, he scored 161 points, which was the second-highest tally in the game. After 6 successful seasons playing for the team, he joined the Tamil Thalaivas. He was given the award of ‘Best Raider’ in the 4th season of the tournament series when he scored a grand 146 raid and 11 tackle points. His excellence in the game earned him the title of ‘Raid Machine.’ He went on to become the captain of the team in the 5th season. Rahul’s flair for the game made him widely popular with its audience.
