Pradeep Rautray is a renowned Hindi sound recordist. He was born and raised in India, where he developed an interest in sound recording and later pursued it as his career. Rautray started his career as an assistant sound recordist in the film industry. He worked hard and gained experience in several movies before finally landing his breakthrough role as a sound recordist for the famous movie Border (1997), directed by J.P. Dutta.
The film portrays the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971 and was a hit and received several awards. After this movie, his work got highly appreciated. He worked on other successful films like Koyla (1997), Judaai (1997), Aakrosh: Cyclone of Anger (1998), Aarzoo (1999), Suraksha (1995), and Ishq Vishk (2003). He got recognized for his outstanding work as a sound recordist. He still is working in the film industry and is widely appreciated.
