Vasundhara Vidalur generally referred by the name Vasundhara vee is an Indian artist with a gifted and melodious voice. Having her roots in Assam she grew up near Chittaranjan park in Delhi.
At an early age of 3 she started singing with a harmonium. She went to schooling in Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram and then for further studies she pursued B.A. in English literature from reputed Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
She is now one of the most recognised artist in soul and jazz music in the country. But the journey upto here wasn't so simple. At the age of 15, when she decided to take music as a profession things weren't easy for her. But her dedication and faith towards her dream landed her a opportunity to sing the signature tune on AIR FM India Rainbow.
She often recalls it to be one of the most beautiful memory of her life, when she was given this opportunity. After that she never looked back. Along with who is also a fantastic musician, she collaborated in various music shows.
The duo was called Vasundhara and adil( alternatively called higher agency). Till now, she has collaborated with many Indian and international artists including veteran indie musician Louiz Banks,
of Mumbai band Indus Creed and Delhi band Advaita keyboardist Anindo Bose, for Ampersand.
Now she is working with a five member band Merkaba which is highlighting the issues of social injustice through music. She has also been recipient of best female award at the Jack Daniels awards in 2014.
