Sneha Pant is a playback singer, born in New Delhi, India. She started singing at very young age and learnt Indian Classical music from Guru Shikha Ganguly. She was very enthusiastic about her music and took off with her career at the tender age of ten by entering various competitions and winning them.

She got a chance to outshine others by the offer made by Kalyani Anandji when she was asked to come to Mumbai. There she continued learning music from Kalyani Anandji. She was made the leader of her group called “little wonders”. She performed in over 800 shows in India as well as overseas. In 1998, she won the Zee TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. It was a children’s reality music show. Her career has just boosted since then.

She has sung over 500 songs, and most of them have been a great hit. She is famous for her sweet voice in songs, such as ‘Soni De Nakhre’ in Partner’, ‘Kyunaagepeeche’ in ‘ Golmaal’, ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon’, ‘ My Friend Ganesha’, ‘ Hanuman’, ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge’, ‘Om Jai Jagdish’,’On The Roof’, ‘Saiyanji’, ‘Jaa Sanam’, ‘Barsan Lage’, ‘Aye Dil Dil Ki Duniya Mein’, ‘Tumko Na BhoolPayenge’,’Tan Man’, ‘Pakde Gaye Toh’, ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and many more.

She became prominent by not only for her mesmerizing songs but also for her remix songs. She has been given the title of ‘Remix Queen’ for songs like ‘Saiyan Dil Mein Aana Re’, ‘Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar’, ‘Hoothon Pe Aisi Baat’, ‘Chod do Aanchal’, ‘Rangeela Re’ and other super hits.

She won many accolades including the prestigious MTV Immie Awards in 2004. She was nominated for Stardust Awards and has also anchored a musical show called “Waar Parivaar’. She is now also doing her own shows all over in India and also overseas.

Siddheshwari was one of the best classical music singer, India ever had. Born in the period, when India was a colony of Britishers, yet she managed to express her talent of singing. Siddheshwari Devi’s life history is so interesting that director Mani Kaul even made an award-winning documentary on her name, “Siddheshwari.” When Siddheshwari was of 18 months, she lost her parents. The Varanasi girl was then taking care by her maternal aunt, Rajeshwari Devi. Rajeshwari Devi was very cruel and rude with Siddheshwari. Rajeshwari used to force her for doing household chores. Kamleshwari Devi, daughter of Rajeshwari Devi, was a good friend of Siddheshwari. The two girls did all chores together. Rajeshwari Devi made Kamleshwari learn music lessons from Siyaji Mishra. One day, while rehearsing, Kamleshwari was not able to sing a particular raag, properly, due to this her mother started beating her. Siddheshwari, who was working in the kitchen, came running, leaving all the work behind, just to protect her weeping cousin Kamleshwari. Siddheshwari motivated Kamleshwari, by telling her that this tone is not that difficult to sing. Siddheshwari gave a demo by singing that tone perfectly. This amazed everyone, especially Siyaji Mishra. Mishra got this much impressed that he asked Rajeshwari Devi for adopting Siddheshwari. Mishra and her wife had no children. The childless couple was so happy with their new daughter, Siddheshwari. Mishra got Siddheshwari training from his musical mentors that included Dewas’s Rayab Ali Khan and Lahore’s Inayat Ali. Siddheshwari also got a chance to learn the skill of music from Bade Ramdas. Siddheshwari was also called Maa (meaning mother) by her fans and followers. She used to sing mainly Thumri and Khyal raag. Siddheswari, also won the award of Padma Shri by the Government of India, in the late 1960s. She also won Honorary Doctorate of Literature’s degree in 1973 by Ravindra Bharti Vishwavidyalaya in Calcutta, followed by Deshikottam degree by Vishwa Bharati Vishwavidyalaya. The Classical Maa, Siddheshwari, took her last breath on March 18, 1977.

Soniya Sharma is an Indian singer who is stepping forward very rapidly in the music industry. After that she has done many reality shows like ‘Voice of Punjab-5’, ‘Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad' (where she was acclaimed with the special jury award in the year 2008), ‘Awaaj Punjab Di' (a Punjabi reality show on Mh1 channel in which she got 1st runner-up prize in the year 2012.) and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar Season 2’ on Star Plus channel in the year 2012. She has also done training in Sufi singing under the guidance of iconic ghazal singer Shri Jagjit Singh for some time. Soniya has done her first playback singing for a Punjabi song ‘Sanu Chad Ke Sajna' from the movie ‘Tere Bin Sajna'. Her next song was also for a Punjabi movie ‘Saka' in the year 2016. She has also marked her powerful presence in the Bollywood from the ‘Great Grand Masti' movie song ‘Resham Ka Rumaal' with Toshi Sabri in the year 2016. The song was a blockbuster hit and has got huge popularity. ‘Dil Le Gui Kudi Gujarat Di' with Jasbir Jassi is her second song in Bollywood from the movie ‘Sweetie weds NRI'. The movie got released on 2 June 2017 and this song is also soaring high in popularity. Apart from playback singing, she has also done almost 200 albums with T- Series Company. Most of her albums include devotional songs. She is also an active participant of Mata Ki Chowki and Mata Ka Jagrata.
