Sharon Prabhakar

Sharon Prabhakar was born on 4 August 1955 and is a multifaceted personality. She is an Indian pop singer, who was famous in the 1980s and 90s, a theatre personality, as well as a public speaker. She has also worked in a few Hindi movies and a Hindi Daily Soap. She has released a total of 7 albums till now.

She is most known for her contribution in Mard, Tu Chor Main Sipahi and Veerana. Her stint as a singer started during her college days in Lady Sriram College, Delhi University. She married Brian Mascarenhas in 1978 whom she later divorced in 1982. She then married Alyque Padamsee but separated from him as well some years later. She is the mother of Bollywood actress, Shazahn Padamsee.
