Medha Jalota

Lt. Medha Jolata was the wife of famous Indian Ghazal and Bhajan singer ‘Anup Jolata’. She was born on 29th July 1955. She passed away at the age of 59 in late November 2014, Medha Jolata took her last breath at a hospital in Manhattan, NYC. The couple has a 19 year old son Aryaman ,who was born in 1996 and is currently pursuing his education at Princeton University. Medha Jolata was the niece of former Indian Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral. Medha was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey two months prior to her deathdue to liver failure. She was also a singer and had a bad experience with marriages, thus Medha and Anup shared a lot in common. Thus, this made them compatible for each other ,and hence, they had a successful life. In her later life, she had a lot of health issues- a couple of times her liver got transplanted and a heart surgery. Medha was a jovial person and a singer, but her songs were not that popular and her personal and health problems also hampered her career.Thus she was a flop singer. She was a lesser known public figure. Even eventhough she was the niece of a former Indian Prime Minister and the wife of a famous singer, she herself had no such identity in public.
