Manya Narang

Manya Narang is a singer, music composer, and performer who works in the Bollywood film industry. She participated in Indian Idol season 9, a singing competition with participants from pan India. Manya Narang came among the top 8 contestants of the show. She went on to become one of the finalists of season 9. Manya was born on 4 January 1995. She was born and brought up in New Delhi. She currently resides in New Delhi. She was into singing since the age of eight. Manya went to Patiyala Gharana, a singing school, to learn Hindustani music style. During her college days, she was the President of the music society and had performed on many college programs. Manya's favorite music composers are A.R. Rahman, Pritam, Vishal-Shekhar, and Shankar Mahadevan. She entered Asia's singing superstar, a singing reality show, and came among the top 20 finalists. She won the 2015 Best Performer Award in Radiocity Supersinger competition. In season 1 and 2 of Big FM 'Big Golden Voice' program, she came as the first runner up. She has participated in many singing reality shows before entering Indian Idol.

Through the show, she gathered people's attention and rose to fame. She was a wildcard entry in the show but unfortunately got eliminated after two weeks. She has also performed at esteemed events such as Commonwealth games and the Kamani auditorium in Delhi. Manya collaborated with ghazal singer Ranbir Kumar and released her album 'Justuju' in 2018.
