Hema Sardesai is a Hindi playback singer who has sung for over 60 Bollywood films. In 2000, she got a chance to give her vocal with Shahrukh Khan for song ’Apun Bola’ which was picturized on the actor and Aishwarya Rai and the song became popular among the younger generation. Earlier, she had a chance to sing in another Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pardes’ with Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik for a number ‘Nahi Hona Tha’.

But she rose to popularity by singing with Alka Yagnik in another Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘ Asoka’ which was picturized on Kareena Kapoor (San Sanana). Even for a film like ‘ Baghban’, this singer shared credits with Amitabh Bachchan and Alka for a song ‘Chali Chali Phir Chali’. Her first solo was from’ Chak De India’ (Badal Pe Paon Hain) which became national anthem for sports lovers. After this song, she never looked back. She also has sung a super hit song for A.R. Rahman for A V M productions film ‘Sapnay’. The song ‘Awaara Bhavaren’ was picturized on actress Kajol and there was a magic in her voice to capture the youthful spring season. Harshdeep Kaur is an Indian playback singer who has been singing for Bollywood movies since 2003 and also a well known name in Sufi genre of songs. She rose to fame by appearing in reality musical programmed and even bagged the title ‘Sufi Ki Sultana’ form legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for a program ‘ Lux Junoon – Kuch Kar Dikhaane Ka’ that was aired on NDTV Imagine in September 2008. She has also participated in ‘Home World Tour’ program organized by music maestro A R Rahman in 2010 and had toured all over USA, Canada, UK, South Africa. In 2014, she accompanied the maestro Rahman again for ‘Infinite Love Concerts’ in Singapore and Malaysia. Harshdeep Kaur was born in a Sikh family on December 16, 1986 in New Delhi. She is known for wearing a turban on her hand while singing a Sufi song on stage. Her musical journey began at her home only. Her father owns a musical instruments factory in the capital (New Delhi). She became serious in learning music since age of six and later learnt Indian classical music from Singh Brothers and western music from George Pullinkala. She even joined Delhi School of Music to learn piano. In 2015, she got married to Mankeet Singh. She took part in Coke Studio (India) on MTV for all three seasons and even had hosted two musical shows so far. Now she has a handful of exquisite albums to her credit.
