Gajendra Rana

Gajendra Rana is a music artist from Uttarakhand. He was born on July 8, 1988, in Delhi but his residence is Uttarakhand, and his village name is Nangani. He got his education from his village school till the fifth standard. At that time, his father worked in Delhi. Gajendra Rana went to his father in Delhi for better studies. He completed his high school and intermediate examination in Delhi. Gajendra Rana is the youngest one among five siblings. He has been very fond of singing since childhood. He participated in singing competitions at school and college festivals. He used to sing Garhwali songs in his schools. In the year of 1998, he started singing professionally. He released his first album 'Mero Gaon ku Batu', and after that, he released two albums 'Teri Dwi Aankhon Ma' and 'Yaad Tera Gon Ki'. After that, he sang many albums and Garhwali songs.

His life was not easy when he was in Delhi, he used to stay in a rented room. There he had to cook food for everyone and do all the work along with his studies. He was not good at studies so he was constantly worried about his future. In the music field, he was very good though his first few albums did not work well. This is the reason for his depression and hopelessness but he did not give up and worked hard on the album named Leela Ghasyari, which became a super hit. After that, almost all the albums he released became super hits, and he became the heartbeat of youngsters. There are several super hit albums of Gajendra Rana such as Babli Teru Mobile, Gabru Dida, Pushpa, Chori, Rani, Gorakhyani, Bandh, Bhanumati, Furki, etc.

Gajendra Rana performed in Kumaon Mahotsav. Kumaon Mahotsav is a ten-day festival organized at Rainka Sports Ground in Almora in which many artists have displayed their art. Whereas Gajendra Rana's songs forced people to dance. Gajendra Rana gave a brilliant presentation of many Kumaoni Garhwali songs like Jai Ho Nanda Devi Jai Ho Bhola.., Pushpa Chhori Pauri Khal Ki, Laagi Di Chha Tu Bad Kamaal Ki...Tu Le Dharau Bola, Leela Ghasiyari, Babli Tero Mobile.
