Fariha Pervez is one of the most versatile female singers of the country. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, she got her singing abilities from her father and joined "Master Feroze Gill" in 1995 for classical training in music. She is one singer who can perform in modern pop styles, folk, classical, semi-classical, etc. Fariha is fond of her two brothers and likes to spend time with them. Her sixth album, Passion, was released in 2005 which consisted of 12 songs. The video of "Yaad Piya Ki" got the award for the Best Ballad in the 1st The Musik Awards (TMA) and was directed by Jawad Bashir.
