Dr. Pallavi Shyam

Dr Pallavi Shyam is a famous Hindi playback singer. She is also a well-known voice artist, an excellent stage performer, a model, an actor, and a dentist. She is popularly known as Jannat Girl, a moniker that she gained because of the catchy lyrics she uses in her songs. She has done Bachelor of Dental Science. During her childhood, she actively participated in both sports and cultural activities. Her father was extremely interested in sports while her mother had a keen interest in music and dance. Her mother was a famous Carnatic classical vocalist in devotional music. She was a Grade B artist on AIR Thirunelveli station. Her sister is a veena player and a singer. Being Tamil she has great value for music and dance. At the age of three, she started learning Carnatic classical vocals and was trained till the time she was in tenth grade.

Later she moved to Pune and began learning Hindustani vocals with her Guru Shri Ravindra Parchure. When she came to Mumbai, she started studying Western singing at the True School of Music along with Carnatic and Dhrupad music. She started by doing Bollywood and Western retro and pop music shows at weddings, corporate events, and a few South Bombay clubs. She has given voiceovers in more than 13 different languages.
