Gandhharv Sachdev is a well-known Indian musician. Gandhharv Sachdev is one of those who came to the city of dreams to become a playback singer in Bollywood. But unlike thousands of other aspiring artists, Gandhharv Sachdev chose an unusual path to enter through his inherent entrepreneurial abilities. His production firm, Monk Media and Entertainment, co-produced the critically acclaimed Hindi feature film Fuddu. The firm got established after he completed his filmmaking studies at Whistling Woods. Gandhharv Sachdev was born and raised in Delhi, although he has deep family ties to Jalandhar, Punjab, where he first encountered music.

He has experience singing Hindustani classical music and has experimented with various musical genres and vocal techniques. His mother plays the sitar and has received awards from the Indian president. He received musical training from his mother and performed for the first time at five. He credits his initiation into music to his mother. A music career is so unreliable and unpredictable. Any parent would be apprehensive of their child taking up such a career.
