Pinky Maidasani

Pinky Maidasani is a playback singer. She is also a full singer and rapper. She belongs to a Sindhi family. However, her family worked in the railways. Her father had been posted in several parts of the country. Due to this Pinky spent her childhood in various locations. She had spent most of her childhood in central and northern India. She is the youngest child of her parents. Nonetheless, both her parents and siblings have supported her to pursue her singing career. Late Ustad Hibzul Kabir Khan Sahib was her first music teacher.

At a young age, she started gaining musical knowledge from him in Madhya Pradesh. Pinky Maidasani presented bhajans in Madhav Shah Darbar. Later she moved a step ahead with her musical career Pinky participated in “Indian Idol 3.” It's an Indian reality show. This show brought numerous singing opportunities for her. However, sang in Bollywood movies. Pinky Maidasani started her career in 2006. With her hard work and performance she became the "title of first female folk rapper of India." Nonetheless, she has performed in almost 5000 live shows. This talented singer has sung in 13 languages. In the film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Pinky provided her voice in many songs.

Within overnight those songs topped in the hit songs list. Her famous Punjabi rap song is "Kikli Kalerdi." In this song, she was accompanied by Yo Yo Honey Singh. For the movie Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene, she combined the desi melody with the rapping hymns. Moreover, she also worked effectively as a playback singer in films like Mr. Joe B. Carvalho, Chann Pardesi, and Sharma Ji Ki Lag Gayi. Pinky Maidasani has worked as a singer. Some of her singles include Bullet Wale Saiyaan, Dekh Le Kismat Yaar, Dilli ki Sarkar, Chumma Chaati, and Turn it Up.
