Antara Nandy

Antara Nandy is an Indian singer who has worked in several Bollywood movies and has also sang various singles. Antara is from Sivasagar, Assam, India. She first appeared in the ZEE TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs in the year 2009. Nandy was one of the runners up of the show. Nandy did her schooling, from Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Kolkata. After doing her schooling she is pursuing Mass Comm. in Symbiosis International University. Her first mentor is Padmashree Ustaad Rashid Khan. After few years of learning under him, she joined several institutes such as ITC Sangeet Research Academy and KM Music Conservatory.

Nandy is the youngest Bengali vocalist to perform at the prestigious Durbar Hall, Kolkata. At the young age of 19, she performed at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. This album made her won several awards and appreciations. In the year 2015, she composed a song and sung it. The song was YA DEVI Celebrating Womanhood; it was again one of her best songs.
