Shrishti Behl Arya

Shrishti Behl Arya is an Indian producer an actor. She is known for producing Bollywood movies with her brother Goldie Behl. She took birth in a reputed family of Indian film Industry with directors and producers. She is the daughter of producer Ramesh Behi, her brother is a director and is married to actress Sonali Bendre. So, there is a lot of stardom in the family. Shrishti has produced Hindi films as well as daily soaps including I, Me Aur Mai, Aarambh, The Legend of drone, London Paris New York, etc. She has collaborated with top Indian Channels like Star Plus, Colors, Life OK, Channel V, Zee, etc. Her career got successful with the idea that she produced some bold TV shows being a lady. Her work Lipstick and Reports got critically acclaimed and brought her into the limelight. A family background became an important factor too, but her intelligence and right choice made her what she is today, a successful lady producer of the country. She took birth in a reputed family of Indian film Industry with directors and producers. She is the daughter of producer Ramesh Behi, her brother is a director and is married to actress Sonali Bendre. Her father directed movies such as Apne Apne, Jawaani, Kasme Waade, etc. He got Filmfare award for Best Film, but he died in 1990. Shristhi lost her father at a tender age. The demise of her father made Goldie and Shrishti take up the responsibility of the family work. Their production house Rose Audio Visuals started by her father needed new operators, and the siblings happened to be the new managers. Her first venture started when an incomplete film. She co-produced Aangarey in the year 1998. The Mahesh Bhatt directorial featured Akshay Kumar and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles. In 2002, she stepped into producing a daily soap named Lipstick. It was Shristhi’s debut show as a producer under her production house Rose Audio Visuals. The drama aired on Zee TV and continued for two years. In 2006, she produced a women-oriented daily soap, Twinkle Beauty Parlour, a story of five women. Two years late in 2008, she helped in her brother’s directorial movie, The Legend of Drone; the mythological film featured Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Her present work is Reports on Sony TV, and she has also joined hands with Netflix.


Ambika Hinduja

Ambika Hinduja is a Bollywood film producer who is well known in Bollywood with a film like 'Teen Patti' that starred Ben Kingsley, Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan and Raima Sen in stellar roles. The film directed by Leena Yadav received a mixed response and it did not fare too well at the box office. She then became an associate producer for many Bollywood movies which became hit at the box office. But 'Teen Patti' is her second feature film. The first, 'Being Cyrus', was a major success at film festivals but it did not get a wide release. She was at the London Film School in Convent Garden and took interest in film production and direction. 'Being Cyrus' was a 90-minute film that starred Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah, Boman Irani. The film had riveting visuals and good narration.  It was not a typical masala Bollywood film but, yet it dealt with the subject of dysfunctional Parsi family. This is a first film Hindi film to deal with dysfunction. Ambika Hinduja, the producer in her early days of career, used to hang around with friends making short films. Film producing, and film funding had been in their family business way back in 1958 when the family gathered the courage to export dubbed films to Iran. Their export of films to Iran continued till 1979. Her father was very supportive of her selection of film funding as a producer because they found that film is the only source of entertainment.  Her father has been supportive of her career. In the year 2010, she shifted priority as a designer. She also re-named her company from 'Serendipity Films' to 'Impeccable Imagination' that played a key role in real estate projects, interior design, and lifestyle domains. Ambika also had keen interest to be part of telecommunication and TV channel business. Ambika was also the second unit director to Subash Ghai's film 'Yaadein' in 2001 that had Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in lead roles. In the year 2004, she again was an assistant director to Farhan Akhtar who made his debut in direction with 'Lakshya'. This film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Om Puri, Hrithik Roshan himself.
