Ravi Bhushan Kumar, an independent Screenwriter and Director, resides in Mumbai. He has 10-plus years of experience in different media fields. He graduated with English Honours and has a Master's in Media Studies and Mass Communication from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, from 2005-07. 

He worked as a theatre actor since March 2006 in Delhi in a theatre group, Rangsaptak, where he acted in plays like Pachkathiya, Banbhatta Ki Atmkatha, Daadu Ki Paati, and Dhay Maa Panna. He got his first chance to assist in the movie Diwangi Ne Had Kar Di (2010). He then worked as a Post Production Supervisor from February 2012-20 in Mumbai, where he did projects for a Delhi-based production house, Ideas and Solutions, project 7 Spots for UN Development Programme, the TV show Crime Control (Pilot) for Doordarshan, and a TV crime show Police Officer (Pilot) for Doordarshan. 

He was a Scriptwriter at Sony Pictures Network in Mumbai from October 2017 to February 2018. One of his well-known works on Sony Sab TV as a writer was Adat Se Majboor (2017-18). He was a Hindi Dialogue Supervisor at Eros International from June 2018 to February 2019, where he supervised a hit trilingual movie, Hathi Mere Sathi. He was a Creative Producer at Abhilasha Productions in Gurugram, Haryana, from August to November 2019. He worked on the creative and operational process in Skill India's show Career Prabha for DD National. 

He has been a Writer-Director since March 2007, where he worked in movies like The Dream Job (2017), The Dream Job- 50$aRupee (2017), a Bengali film Oskar (2018), and theatre plays like Neta ji Ka Interview, Naukari, and Kursi. He has been a freelance Creative Director at WAMINDIA since October 2021. He was an Assistant Director in Om Shri Satya Sai Baba Sai Baba is a Tamil television series. The show is >> Read More... He has also been a Promo Producer at Pocket FM since September 2021 in Mumbai, where he wrote promos on books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, Eat That Frog, The Richest Man in Babylon, Atomic Habits, and Mindset. He is also the Writer of The City and A Girl (2021), Mainu Ek Ladaki Chahiye (2014) and the short film Gandh. He wrote additional dialogues for the international award-winning short film Hope, released in 2019. He was a Dialogue Supervisor of Kaadan (2021). He was an Actor in Maassab (The Teacher), released in 2018 as a Private School Principal.
