Pradeep Gupta

Pradeep Gupta is a Bollywood producer. He turned himself into a producer as he was an avid watcher of Hindi movies. He had a passion to make films, and that is why he turned himself into a producer. The first movie he handled as a producer was ‘ Fuddu’ (2016) which was directed by Sunil Subramani. The film Stars Shubham and Swati Kapoor in lead roles, with Paritosh Sand, Shalini Arora, and Vikki Ahuja playing supporting roles. Sunny Leone, Ranbir Kapoor, and Katrina Kaif supported the whole cast by helping a song to get featured in the movie. But much before ‘Fuddu’ came up, Jacksons Productions was busy with a project ‘ Muavza.’ Later, Jackson Gupta was the producer of the movie ''Muavza-Zameen Ka Paisa' which released on October 7, 2016. The film stars veteran actor Annu Kapoor in lead role with a supporting cast of Akhildehra Mishra and Pankaj Beri.

The film was released in October 2017. The film was directed by Girish Juneja. It was a comical satire on land grabbing. Later, he accounted a film to do with Manoj Tyagi, who wrote the screenplay for 'Page 3' (2005), which was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Pradeep Gupta was very serious about producing spy-thriller movies. He even said that the spy thriller would be inspired by a real-life event and not a fictional one. He is also the executive director of Jackson International Ltd. Mr. Pradeep Gupta has a deep interest in filmmaking. He wanted to make films on social issues which give messages to audiences related to their day to day life. He started a separate film division of ‘Jackson Group’ called ‘Mahima Productions’ in 2013.

Their first project was ‘Fuddu.’ Once upon a time, he met Manoj Tyagi and had discussed to make a film on Sarabjeet, but when Subhash Ghai announced the project, he dropped it from the list. But when he gave the project 'Fuddu' to writer Pawan Kumar Sharma, a rift in their relationship widened. It is said that Pradeep Gupta paid a major amount of Rs 5 lakhs in advance, but Manoj felt, he had been cheated as Pawan was brought in. It may be noted that Manoj Tyagi is two times national award winner for movies like ‘Aparahan'’ and ‘Page 3’. It is said that to make films on social issues turned him actually to be a producer in Bollywood. Pradeep Gupta is also keen to make films on a limited budget.
