Ramdas Phutane is a Maharashtra-based satirist, Screenwriter, filmmaker, and director. He was born in Ahmednagar's Jamkhed District on April 14, 1943. Ramdas Phutanya's short poems have captivated Maharashtrian readers for many years. From 1961 through 1973, Ramdas Phutane taught at the art school. Saamana (film) (1975 production), Sarvasakshi (film) (1979 script, display, and director), Survanta (film) (1994 directed), and Match (film): 3 National Awards, Filmfare Awards, and State Awards Witness (movie): Selected for the Indian Panorama in Bangalore and the 5th International Film Festival in Hong Kong in 1975, and participated in the festival. Survanta was honored with the State Award for Best Rural Film and the Chronicle Award for Best Film of 1995. Witness has been selected for the Indian Panorama in Bangalore and the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
