Hemendra Aran is an Indian film producer, an entrepreneur, and a writer. Under his production many Bollywood films became hit, one of them is Yeh Khula Aasmaan released in 2012. He took birth in Madras, Tamil Nadu in the year 1974.

Hemendra has excelled in all the fields he has put effort into, whether it be production, business or writing books, he has achieved success in all. In 2003, he founded Aranca, analytics, and advisory firm; it now has offices in multiple countries including the USA, United Kingdom, and India. He took birth in Madras, Tamil Nadu in the year 1974.

A studious boy right from the start went to the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Madras to pursue a B.Tech (Bachelor in Technology) degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he went to the London Business School to complete his MBA (Masters in Business Administration), he also specialized in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Hemendra also went to the University of California, Berkeley for further studies. He after studies worked at the Infosys Technologies Limited as an outsourcing manager; also he collaborated with Reebok, Thomson Consumer Electronics, and Goldman Sachs on certain assignments.

He is also seen delivering speeches at London School of Economics, the Indian Institutes of Technology, and Indian Institutes of Management. Hemendra is also a presenter for The Economic Times, BBC News, and Channel News Asia.

In 2003, he founded Aranca, an analytics, and advisory firm; it now has offices in multiple countries including the USA, United Kingdom, and India. Hemendra is also the founder of Meher Miracles, a production house, under its production many Bollywood films became hit, one of them is Yeh Khula Aasmaan released in 2012.

Hemendra’s wife Gitanjali Sinha directed the movie, and it won an award at Kids First! Film and Video Festival. The movie also got named as Best Foreign Feature Film at Los Angeles Film Festival.

Aranca has offices in China, New York, London, Gurgaon, and Boston. In the year 2005, he turned in to an author and wrote Outsourcing Success published by Tata McGraw Hill Publishing Company. In the following year, he wrote Global Financial Markets Revolution published by Palgrave Macmillan.

The books had business and economy as their theme and became successful. Hemendra is also an advisor at Zeus Capital Limited. He lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra and is married to the director Gitanjali Sinha. They both are parents to two children.

He has created some blockbuster films in Punjabi such as ‘Jatts In Golmaal,’ ‘Mr & Mrs 420’ and ‘Yaara o Dildaara.’ Ksshitij Chaudhary is famous for making films in the comedy genre. All his movies are designed to make the audiences laugh and most often his work is known by exaggerating characteristics for humorous effect. Films in this genre have a happy ending, traditionally. He first made his journey in filmmaking as a DVD film director. His first effort was a direct a DVD film ‘Meri Vahuti Da Viyah.’ It was a comedy movie that released in 2006. Now the film is not available anywhere. It is the story of a man who overhears another patient's conversation with his doctor and mistakes that he is going to die very soon. So he asks his friend to marry his wife so that she does not become a widow after his death. The film was directed by Ksshitij Choudhary and had stars Upasana Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and Vivek Shauq. In the year 2009, Ksshitij Chaudhary and Harjit Singh jointly directed a movie 'Heer Ranjha A True Love Story.' This story about Heer and Ranjha has been made numerous times. The actors in the film include Harbhajan Mann, Neeru Bajwa, Guggu Gill, Jasbir Jassi and Sameep Kang. It is a story of a girl Heer who is devastated after her father’s death, but when she meets a man Ranjh, she gets back to normalcy. Does love change her life? This is the film all about love and is a sentimental love story. After this movie, Ksshitij Chaudhary again directed another one of Harbhajan’s movie. In the year 2011, Ksshitij Chaudhary directed a T-Series movie 'Yaara O Dildaara' which had stars like Harbhajan Mann, Tulip Joshi, who debuted in Mere Yaar ki Shaadi hai, Kabir Bedi, Gulzar Inder Chahal, Jonita Doda, Gurpreet Ghughi, and, Neena Cheema. It was a family entertainer which is based on love and relationships. The film is about two business families of Ludhiana. In the year 2013, Ksshitij Chaudhary & R Raja jointly directed a movie 'Jatts in Golmal,' which was a Punjabi movie, which was also Veena Malik's debut in Punjabi cinema. The film had stars like Arya Babbar, Sameksha, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Binnu Dhillon in lead roles. In the year 2014, Ksshitij Chaudhary directed another Punjabi movie which was produced by Rupali Gupta. The film was titled as 'Mr & Mrs 420' and was written by Smeep Kang and starred actors like  Yuvraj Hans, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai, Binnu Dhillon and Jaswinder Bhalla. In the year 2016, Ksshitij Chaudhary directed ‘Main Teri Tu Mera’ which was written by Pali Bhupinder Singh and starring Roshan Prince, Yamini Malhotra, Mankirt Aulakh, Jazz Sodhi, Karamjit Anmol. In 2014, Kshitij Chaudhary, Prashita Chaudhary, Guneet Monga, Anurag Kashyap, Andy Paterson and many more producers made a film ‘Tigers’ which had Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi and Geetanjali Thapa, Danny Huston, Maryam D’Abo in lead roles. ‘Tigers’ premiered at the  Toronto Film Festival in 2014. The film was an adaptation of a real-life story, about a salesman working with Nestle, who later on struggles to take up a fight with the company for moral reasons. Every year, Ksshitij Chaudhary directs a film in the romantic comedy genre which continues to establish him as a popular director in the field of romcoms.


Ismail Merchant

Ismail Merchant was an Indian Director and Producer whose full name was Ismail Noormuhammad Abdul Rahman born in Mumbai. He was the son of a textile dealer named Noormohamed Haji Abdul Rehman who was the leader of the Muslim League, and he didn’t go to Pakistan during the partition. He learned languages like Gujarati, Urdu from his family and Arabic and English at his school. At the young age of nine years, he delivered a speech based on the partition which won hearts of millions of people. Because of connections his family had in the society, he became friends with a then Bollywood actress Nimmi, who became his motivation to rise to stardom in the world of Theatres. He joined St. Xavier’ s College, Mumbai. At the age of 22 years, he went to the United States for his further studies to pursue MBA. He started working as a messenger to the United Nations and where he met many Indian delegates those who helped him funding his film projects. His first movie, a short film, in which he was a producer was The Creation of Woman released in 1960 was a big hit and was also screened at Cannes Film Festival and nominated for Academy Awards. Ismail Merchant met James Ivory who was born in California during the screening of latter’s movie called The Sword and The Flute in 1959 as it was depicting Indian culture. They met and came close in a very less span of time and then formed a film production company named Merchant Ivory Productions. People say theirs was a lifelong partnership and romance whose duration ended after Merchant’s death in 2005. Their partnership is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Record for the longest partnership in cinema’s. Merchant also directed some television shows and the films like Mahatma and Mad Boy. He first directed film which had Shashi Kapoor in it was based on a novel written by Anita Desai won the National award from Govt of India for Best production and design and Shashi Kapoor also made it to Best Lead Actor. Other than cinemas he was very much interested in cooking and he wrote many recipe books some of which are Ismail Merchant's Florence; Ismail Merchant's Indian Cuisine; Ismail Merchant's Passionate Meals and Ismail Merchant's Paris: Filming and Feasting in France. Some of his best movies were like – Maurice, Mr. and Mrs.Bridge, Roseland, The Europeans, A Room With a View, Heights. He also gave many precious quotes to this world which are found on various websites relating to Humour, Love, Sadness, Culture, etc. He got awarded with one of India’ s biggest honors Padma Bhushan, and he also received International Centre in New York’ s Award of Excellence. He died in 2005 after surgery for abdominal ulcers in Westminster and was buried Marine Lines, Mumbai.
