Raghav Bahl

Raghav Bahl is an Indian businessman who is well known for owning several Television channels like TV 18 and the founder of The Quintillion Media Pvt Ltd. He did his graduation from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi and obtained a degree in Bachelor in Economics. After that, Mr. Bahl did his post graduation from Faculty of Management Studies and did Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.). He is married to Ritu Kapur and had two children; Tara Bahl and Vidur Bahl. At the beginning of his career, he was the Management Consultant at a company called AF Ferguson and later became a stint at American Express Bank.

But his interest always lies in media, so Mr. Bahl took a risk by quitting his banking job and joined as an Anchor in India Group today and also helped to produce India's first online video magazine called Newstrack. In 1985 he was also an anchorperson and assistant in Doordarshan. Later in 1993-2014, he set up Network 18 that is now one of India's top media houses which nearly has 35 Television channels, a portfolio of magazines, 13 websites and a production company. Also, the company had the partnership with world's leading brands like Forbes, CNBC, A&E Networks, Time Warner (established CNN-IBN), Star TV, BBC, and Viacom.

He also established IBN 7. The current market capitalization of the company is almost a billion dollars. He proved himself to be one of the remarkable businessmen India has. He quit Network 18 in the year 2014 and the same year founded a new company with his wife Ritu Kapur - The Quintillion Media Pvt Ltd. The Quint is the digital journalism, the business focus to shift from Television to Digital Media.
