Baburao Patel was well known Indian Editor and Writer. He was born on 4 April 1904 in Maswan, Palghar, Maharashtra, India. Baburao was also the Director and Producer. During his career, He has done 8 Films and Contributed abundant to Bollywood. India's first film trade magazine ( MOTHER INDIA ) was edited & published by Baburao Patel and its first edition was published in 1935. He directed and produced some successful and well-liked films like "Gwalan"(1946), "Kismet”(1932), “Sati Mahananda”(1933), “Bala Joban” (1934) and “Pardesi Saiyan”(1935). He was also the Member of Parliament for Shajapur.
Baburao's last movie is "Matwali Meera" was released in 1947. Baburao wrote Famous Books like "Grey Dust" (1949) Sumati Publications, "Burning Words: A Critical History of Nine Years of Nehru's Rule from 1947 to 1956" (1956) Sumati Publications, "A Blueprint of Our Defence" (1962) Sumati Publications and "The Rosary and the Lamp" (1966) Girnar Publications. He passed away on 4 September 1982 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
