Ashutosh Matela

Ashutosh Matela is an Indian producer, theatre artist, editor, and choreographer who works predominantly in the Hindi film industry. Born in Haldwani, Uttrakhand, he graduated with B-Tech in civil engineering from IIT, Delhi, from 2001 to 2005. During the third year of his college, he realized his passion for dance and joined Shiamak Davar's dance class. He was also engaged in film production, acting, and choreography at college. Ashitish did a two-month stint with Davar's troupe, after his graduation in 2005, for the 2006 Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne. He also choreographed a toeing dance performance by General Mills in the inaugural event of Dip Trix. He then completed a two-month course in direction from the Vikshi Institute of Media Studies. In April 2010, he started a production company, 'Redmat Entertainment.' He aimed to produce documentaries, corporate films, and viral videos.
